KUDOKE 2 – Bluebird

In Alpine sports, there’s a fantasy of a day with perfect conditions. A Winter storm approaches and Mother Nature begins to set the stage. The stormfront passes, skies become clear, bright and cloudless. The sun shines on a tufted fresh snow. Those lucky enough to immerse themselves in nature on these rare days call them, a Bluebird day!
“Kudoke 2 Bluebird” celebrates those who make the most of everyday, while remaining content, waiting for the day when everything aligns for a perfect Bluebird day!

Initiated by our longterm friend and retail partner Martin Pulli, we set out to realize his idea of incorporating a Bluebird day into our KUDOKE 2. Therefore the key challenge was to get the dial right. Compared to our regular collection, we abandoned the frosted surface for a sunray finish emanating from the opening of the day & night indication at 12 o’clock.

The coloration of the dial resembles the sky at a Bluebird day. With the sunrays it rises from bright silver to intensive sky blue. The heat-blued infinity hands perfectly complement this scenery perfectly.

Not to be missed is the small detail in the caseback: revisiting the topic of this epic watch the balance cock is engraved with a sun emanating from the center screw as well as a small bird flying towards it.
